Do I have a warranty?
As a European consumer, you have rights under the law regarding warranty on the products we sell. This statutory warranty means we, as the seller, must ensure that the products we sell conform to the agreement we have with you—and we stand by this.
What does the statutory warranty mean?
For all items purchased in the Truckjunkie webshop, the statutory guarantees apply. This means a product must meet what you can reasonably expect from it. We warrant that our products:
- match the stated specifications,
- meet reasonable standards of quality and/or usability, and
- comply with applicable laws and regulations.
The statutory warranty applies only if you have proof of purchase and notify us within a reasonable period after discovering the defect, in accordance with our customer policy. Warranty is excluded if products show damage resulting from demonstrably improper use beyond normal daily use.
What is the warranty period on the items I order?
For all purchased items, the statutory warranty periods apply. Is your item defective or not functioning properly? Please contact us—we’re happy to help!
How do I make a warranty claim?
You must inform Truckjunkie within a reasonable time after you discover the defect.
If Truckjunkie deems the complaint to be justified, the relevant products will—after consultation with you—be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
The maximum compensation equals the price you paid for the product.
What’s the process?
- Contact us at info@truckjunkie.nl
- Include your order or invoice number
- Specify which item shows a defect
- Provide a clear description of the defect
- Preferably include photos of the item so we can quickly assess the defect and its possible cause
Complaints
We do our utmost to ensure every customer is satisfied. If you nevertheless have a complaint about a product and/or any other aspect of Truckjunkie’s services, you can submit a complaint to Truckjunkie. We take every complaint seriously and will respond as soon as possible, and in any case within 14 days of receiving your complaint.
If a substantive or final response is not yet possible, Truckjunkie will acknowledge receipt within 14 days and indicate the timeframe within which we expect to provide a substantive or final response.
If you entered into the agreement as a European consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you may also submit it to a national dispute resolution body via the European ODR Platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main
