Product description
Volvo has modified the headlight unit, requiring a different daytime running light conversion kit for the new version from June 2015. It's important that the kit you order has the same number of LEDs as the kit you already have. This kit consists of a plate with 4 and a plate with 6 LEDs, while the new version has 2 and 3 LEDs.
With this complete kit, you can convert the standard white daytime running lights to yellow light. The kit is suitable for Volvo FHs from 2012. Each kit contains a total of 20 Luxeon Rebel LEDs, providing up to 2000 lumens, comparable to the original brightness. The lamps are designed like the original lights, with powerful High Power LEDs on aluminum plates. These plates ensure better cooling through heat transfer to the original cooling, extending the lifespan of the LEDs. The original connectors are reused, making installation easy.
Each kit includes four lamps and thermal paste for installation. There are two LEDs on each side, with the light source with six LEDs on the top and the four light sources on the bottom.
Installation instructions:
- Remove the connectors from the existing lighting.
- Remove the screws securing the original diode holders.
- Remove the diode holders from the cooling plates.
- Remove the thermal paste and clean the surface thoroughly.
- Apply the supplied thermal paste in a thin, even layer on the cooling plates.
- Press the diode holder into the thermal paste and secure it with the original screw.
- Insert the connectors into the new diode holder.
Note: this kit does not have an E-mark.
